Angeles, CA - - Tuesday, August 6, 2002 - - Legendary
film producer

of such films as “The Godfather,” “Love Story”
and “Rosemary’s Baby,” among others), will be appearing at TOWER SUNSET, August 6th

KID STAYS IN THE PICTURE follows the illustrious life
of Robert Evans - from clothing designer (Evan-Picone) to
Actor (The Sun Also Rises, The Best Of Everything) to Paramount
Executive (overseeing such blockbusters as Rosemary’s Baby, Love Story
and The Godfather), to Producer (Marathon Man, Chinatown), to his
downward descent into cocaine addiction, paired with a rumored involvement in the
“Cotton Club” murder and ending with his triumphant return in the
90’s producing such movies as The Two Jakes, Sliver, The Phantom, and The
Saint. Film Composer Jeff Danna painstakingly researched music of various time periods to create a score that would incorporate the eras of Robert Evans’ personal journey. Danna also arranged a version of Irving Berlin’s classic “What Will I Do” a song that Evans feels exemplifies his life. The score reflects the emotional temperature from Vaudeville and 50’s to contemporary orchestral and Tarantella. Danna explains the scoring process, “There were unconventional scenes of which the music needed to reflect the subject matter. For example, Evans being arrested set up a mood that was easier to translate to score than Evans acquiring the film rights to the novel The Detective.” Evans himself described the score as “Marvelous.”
